About Our Founder & CEO

Edward O. Tomoye D.O.,M.A.

Edward O. Tomoye D.O.,M.A., is a board-certified osteopathic physician who specializes in Infectious Disease, Wound Care, Undersea (Dive) and Hyperbaric Medicine, and Natural Pain Management – with the use of Osteopathic Manipulative medicine and other modalities. He runs a multidisciplinary medical practice with primary interest in Natural Pain Relief

Education            

Dr.  Tomoye obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University, College of Osteopathic Medicine . He also has a Fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine from the Department of Anesthesiology at the prestigious Duke University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Infectious Disease from University of Massachusetts Medical School.

During his year at Duke University’s Department of Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine he participated in multiple research projects including publication of a chapter in the 14th edition of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Indications textbook.  

Dr. Tomoye is a Board Certified physician in Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care. He is also an Adjunct associate professor of medicine at the University of North Texas School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Research Interests 

  • Effects of hyperbaric oxygen on vaso-occlusive crisis in sickle cell anemia 
  • Laser therapy and wound healing 
  • Efficacy of select topical antimicrobials on chronic wounds

Hobbies & Interests

When not practising medicine Dr. Tomoye supports the military and veterans. He also enjoys traveling, playing and watching sports especially soccer, football, track & field and martial arts. He also loves nature, photography, music and art.
